Operational Excellence Intern

MFA is seeking to add to its growing Operational Excellence Practice with the addition of an intern. This entry level individual will grow their career while they are provided with a dedicated mentor, one-on-one guided learning, and internal/external continuing education seminars. They will also learn compliance and advisory services which align with our customers’ overall business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Providing front line support to support Firm members with Salesforce Support
  • Assist users in creating self-service reports and dashboards to drive fact-based decision making and continuous process improvements
  • Perform tasks as needed to monitor corporate adherence to standard processes and compliance with corporate policies
  • Juggle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Document work and complete clear and concise workpapers
  • Be proactive in accomplishing assigned tasks in a timely fashion
  • Actively communicate issues as they arise with respect to MFA matters, customer service concerns, etc.
  • Create, maintain, and organize customer files
  • Rely on instruction and pre-established guidelines to complete assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required, Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • Eager to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities
  • Experience working with relational databases preferred
  • Experience reading and writing SQL queries preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across the organization with users at various levels of application proficiency
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrate group presentation skills
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a customer service or sales position in retail, restaurants, and/or consulting
  • Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills
  • Eagerness to learn and follow directions
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
